Numbers of lessons for one school year :one lesson unit is 45 minutes.

・Lessons
We want children to be eager to learn. Accordingly, teachers in the school work cooperatively to develop effective teaching methods and lesson plans, with an emphasis on experience-based learning.
・General Studies
This class is an opportunity for independent study and investigation on topics of interest to each child. The teacher sets the general topic, but within the assigned topic each child chooses what he or she wishes to investigate.
・Moral Education
Through classes in Moral Education, and through school life in general, the school encourages children to respect human rights and be thoughtful of others. Working cooperatively with the family and community, the school takes an active role in raising morally upright children.
・Special Activities
Through special group activities at both the class and school level, we encourage children to see themselves as an important member of a group and teach them to work effectively with others.
・Other Activities
Many children today are raised in small families, and may not have many opportunities to interact with people of different ages. Accordingly, the school encourages interaction between older and younger children within the school as well as interaction between students and members of the community. Through school activities, children can interact with other elementary schools and people of other cultures. The goal is to raise children who feel open and friendly to people of different ages and backgrounds.
・Manners
The school teaches basic manners that are important within Japanese society and the world at large. In a warm and child-centered way, teachers encourage students to adopt good habits about greeting others, answering questions in a clear, friendly manner and cooperating to clean public spaces within and around the school.
